Curriculum Philosophy

Social Systems & Justice affirms that civic understanding begins with lived experience and leads to redesign. This course empowers Grade 11–12 learners—especially those navigating displacement or systemic injustice—to investigate human systems, analyze structures of power and access, and propose alternatives rooted in dignity and equity. Through trauma-informed pacing, multilingual scaffolds, and project-based learning, students build fluency in civic reasoning, historical analysis, and ethical redesign.
