Curriculum Philosophy

Multilingual Literacy & Communication Lab affirms language as a tool for identity, dignity, and civic transformation. This course empowers Grade 11–12 learners—especially those navigating displacement or multilingual realities—to explore systems of communication across cultures, modalities, and power structures. Through trauma-informed storytelling, multilingual scaffolds, and project-based learning, students build fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening while reclaiming voice and agency.
